Alright everyone, last week I promised that today I would write about something much freakier than mere minimalism. Well, today is upon us… and that is not happening.
Wait! It totally will happen, this Thursday. And it is going to be worth the wait. Have you ever run down and tackled a mother deer so you could steal her milk? No? Well, neither have I, but in the series of posts that starts Thursday you’ll find out why that was a serious option on my plate. (Just once, I swear.)
And if that little teaser has you intrigued, you can thank Satya Colombo, who convinced me to write about one of the awesomest topics on earth (you can also check out his blog, Fierce Wisdom, which is solid gold). What’s the topic? You’ll have to check back Thursday morning to find out.
But worry not, rogue fans. This post isn’t all bluster. Actually, it’s pretty exciting—the unveiling of my very first video blog post! Woohoo! Most of you know that this weekend I moved into a monastery. That’s a pretty massive change. So how did it go? Well….
Please be a good internet citizen and tweet or Facebook share this post!

I’m a reader, not a viewer. Isn’t that silly? I am sure I miss lots of “good” stuff, like from my friend Rich the life coach, who insists on sending videos that I don’t watch. Reading is easier for me. I can walk away and come back to it later. I can read with a baby on my lap, etc. But I bet it will be a fun venture for you anyway and I’m sure I’m in the minority. ;)

Nice job. Let me know if you have more free time now that the big move is over. :-)

Definitely. Things are simmering down – another of our brain jam sessions sounds like a delight.

Have you already made any decisions about your book?

Mostly. I think it is going to be a book about finding spiritual fulfillment. It will combine the nature spirituality and adventure books into a single narrative. Possible title: “Walking Where the Gods Walked.” Thoughts?
